Muanbun Emenyonu, AUMC Council Chair

Muanbun Emenyonu who is affectionately referred to as MB is the current council person for the board. She is the youngest to hold this position in the history of the African United Methodist Church. Muanbun is the last daughter of Reverend Dr. Daniel Grimes Gueh who is the founder of the African United Methodist Church. MB was practically born and raised in the church as she was a mere child when the UMC was founded. She also sings in the Voice of Africa and has been doing so sense the inception of the church. MB has held several positions in the church. She was youth president, young adult ministry secretary, choir president, and currently is the choir programing chairperson. She also serves on the outreach committee and has been a part of countless community service initiatives and helped to develop many of the church’s ministries.
